General
You can order:

You can pay:
- By credit card (Euro-/Mastercard and Visa). This service is provided by PayPal, a third-party payment provider. To pay by credit card, you must register with PayPal at www.paypal.com .
- By prepay. We will ship your order as soon as the full amount has been credited to our account.
- COD for orders greater than €25.00. You are responsible for any COD charges (These are currently approximately €5.60 in Germany and €9.00 within the EU.)

Contractual Relations with Baikalplan
Your order is an offer to contract with Baikalplan for the sale of the item(s) you ordered. When you order through shop.baikalplan.de, we will send you an email to confirm receipt of your order. This email will list the details of your order. It is not an acceptance of your offer, but rather serves to inform you that we have received your order. A contract of sale is created only after we have shipped your order and sent you a second email to confirm this ("shipping confirmation"). The contract of sale covers only those items listed in the shipping confirmation, and no contract arises in respect of items ordered but not listed in the shipping confirmation. The contract arises between you and Baikalplan.
Customer Service / Complaints
We will take care to ship only products in good condition. If you should receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us directly (preferably by email). If you return the product, please give a brief description of the defect and mark it with tape or something similar. Let us know whether you would like a replacement product, credit to your account with us, or return of the sale price.

Rights of Cancellation and Return
ou have the right to cancel your contract with us within two weeks, beginning on the day you receive the products. No reasons need be given. Your cancellation will be considered in time if it is sent in a timely manner. Please include your customer number on any cancellation. You must declare your cancellation to Baikalplan either in writing (by mail, fax, email or other written medium) or by returning the product(s) to Baikalplan e.V., Schützengasse 18, 01067 Dresden, germany.
We will not accept returns shipped at our cost without prior approval.
Baikalplan reserves the right to retain a reasonable sum in compensation for any depreciation in the condition or value of the product caused by your use of it prior to cancellation.
Timely exercise of your right of cancellation frees you from obligations arising directly from your offer to contract with us.
In the absence of an individually negotiated agreement between you and Baikalplan and to the extent permissible by law, there is no right of cancellation for contracts
- for the sale of products that are prepared to your individual specifications or are unsuitable for return due to their specific characteristics.
- for the sale of audio or video recordings or of software if the seal on the storage medium has been broken.
In the event that you wish to return or trade in only some of the products ordered, please return only those products to us (and/or exercise your right of cancellation only to that extent). Please tell us explicitly whether you want replacement products, and if so, which products you want. Please pay only for those products which you do not return: we will send you a new invoice for the replacement products.
Prices
The prices listed in the online shop are for guidance only. They do not include VAT. Baikalplan cannot accept any liability for mistakes in price listings.
Foreign Orders
No VAT is included in prices for deliveries to countries outside of Germany, whether Member States of the EU or not. You as the buyer are solely responsible for the payment of any sales or value added tax or any customs duties payable on delivery of products to countries outside of Germany.
Baikalplan is not in a position to give you reliable information as to what taxes and/or customs duties may be applicable.
* No further charges are payable for payments from foreign banks and credit institutions within the EU if you enter the IBAN and SWIFT codes for Baikalplan’s account on the transfer form.
These codes can be found on your invoice.
If you fail to note these codes on the transfer form for transfers from a foreign bank, a fee of approximately EUR 7.00 will be charged to your payment, for which we will have to bill you.
Jurisdiction
The courts of Dresden, Germany have jurisdiction in any dispute or question of interpretation arising out of or in connection with your dealings with Baikalplan.
Choice of Law
German law will be applied to any dispute or question of interpretation arising out of or in connection with your dealings with Baikalplan. UN Sale of Goods legislation is not applicable.
Miscellaneous
Products presented in the online shop are not offers capable of acceptance, and are made available only within the Federal Republic of Germany. The maps presented in the online shop have been purchased personally by us or friends of Baikalplan. Since it remains impossible to ship the maps out of Russia using normal mail and shipping methods, we have to transport them in our personal luggage. For this reason, we cannot guarantee delivery, particularly in the case of specialty or detailed maps.
Likewise we cannot guarantee that the maps will be identical to the representations of them on the website or that the print quality will correspond to high German quality standards.
